A dough, caramel and pears, simple and delicious recipe to serve on our pear tablecloth!
Ingredients:
- 3 pears
- Half a cup of silvered almonds (optional)
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- 3 eggs
- 120g of sugar
- 150g of flower
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 150g of butter
- A pinch of salt
- 1 Tablespoon of rhum
1. Prepare the caramel: pour 100 g of sugar, the juice of half a lemon, 2 tablespoons of water and without stirring, let it brown. If the mold allows it, you can make the caramel directly in the pan. Distribute the hot caramel evenly in the mold (without getting burned!)
2. Place the pears, peeled and cut into quarters, at the bottom of the mold and the almonds
3. Preheat the oven to 350°. In a salad bowl, work the 3 eggs with 125 g of sugar, add 150 g of flour and the teaspoon of baking powder; then add 150 g of melted butter, 1 pinch of salt and alcohol (optional). Pour the preparation into the mold over the pears.
4. Bake around 45 minutes to 1h until the dough becomes in the tones of brown (light brown, you don't want to burn your cake!)
5. Turn it on the baking dish while it is still hot and watch out not to burn yourself!
Enjoy it!
