It is the season! Light, easy and tasty strawberry cake!

Here is an easy and really delicious strawberry cake recipe. This recipe requires only 5 ingredients, and 15-20 minutes of preparation. And I'll say it again, this cake is a treat. The dough has a slightly sandy texture that delights the taste buds. The tangy side of the strawberries goes perfectly with the mild-sweetness of the dough. And it is not an oversight not to use yeast, I would like the dough to retain its slightly sandy texture.
This is a small cake that feeds 6 to 8 persons, you can use an 8" round mold.
- 160 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 150 g of flour
- 50 g of melted butter
- 400 g of fresh strawberries
1. Pre heat your over to 390", butter your 8 inch-round cake pan and dust the pans with flour, tapping out the excess.
2. Wash, then cut the strawberries in half lengthwise, and set aside.
3. Mix the eggs and the sugar until the mixture whitens (about 4 minutes with an electric whisk). Add the flour and butter, then mix well with a wooden spoon.
4. our the batter into the mold. Spread the strawberries evenly on top (rounded side out). Bake in the middle of the oven for 35-40 minutes.
5. Allow cake to cool before un molding.
